NYO3 and Aker BioMarine Present an LPC Nutrition Series at Vitafoods Asia 2026
BANGKOK, Thailand – NYO3 and Aker BioMarine presented a new LPC-focused nutrition series at Vitafoods Asia 2026, held September 2-4 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event marked NYO3’s third consecutive appearance at the Asian nutraceutical trade show. NYO3 also announced a new Global Partner Program, with initial partners from Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The launch extends NYO3’s existing work with Aker BioMarine from Antarctic krill ingredients and traceability into LPC-form omega-3 nutrition and brain-health research.
Why LPC is drawing interest in brain-health nutrition
LPC, or lysophosphatidylcholine, is a phospholipid form that can carry fatty acids. A 2014 Nature paper identified MFSD2A as the transporter that carries DHA across the blood-brain barrier when DHA is attached to LPC. The finding helped establish a biological basis for studying LPC-form omega-3 delivery.
Aker BioMarine markets its krill-derived LPC ingredient as Lysoveta®, which supplies EPA, DHA and choline in LPC form. Aker states that it introduced Lysoveta commercially in 2020 and that the ingredient holds New Dietary Ingredient status in the United States.
In April 2026, Aker reported a preclinical mouse study that found enrichment of EPA and DHA in brain-related tissues. The findings support continued ingredient research, a preclinical study may establish disease prevention, treatment or a clinical outcome in people.
Products introduced at Vitafoods Asia 2026
NYO3 introduced NYO3 Brain Health Support, an LPC-focused formula intended for daily brain-health nutrition. It also presented an upgraded NYO3 Amundsen Triple-Action Krill Oil formula combining Antarctic krill oil with an LPC ingredient in a broader healthy-aging format.

A new Global Partner Program
NYO3 used the Bangkok event to introduce a Global Partner Program for distributors, channel platforms and other industry partners. The first group announced at the show included partners from Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on Southeast Asia.
According to NYO3, its products are now sold through online and offline channels in 33 countries and regions. Euromonitor International data that ranked NYO3 first by retail-channel shipment value in the global krill-oil supplement category for 2023-2025, under the category definition supplied in the research completed in April 2026.
Continued investment in Norway
Earlier in 2026, NYO3 announced a strategic investment involving the Understory facility in Norway as part of its plan to expand research and multi-format production capacity. This investment, the Aker BioMarine collaboration and its partner program as connected parts of NYO3’s longer-term international growth strategy.
